These Terms & Conditions govern your use of stalderandreid.co.uk and purchases made from Stalder & Reid.

Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before placing an order. By using our website or placing an order with us, you agree to these terms together with any other policies expressly referred to within them.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects or restricts any statutory rights you have as a consumer under applicable United Kingdom law.

1. About Stalder & Reid

Stalder & Reid operates as an online multi-brand retailer of watches, watch accessories and selected men's accessories.

We do not operate a public showroom or customer collection point.

2. About These Terms

These Terms & Conditions apply to consumer purchases made through stalderandreid.co.uk.

The Stalder & Reid UK website is intended for customers in the United Kingdom.

Separate policies provide additional information concerning:

  • Returns & Refunds;
  • Delivery;
  • Warranty;
  • Privacy; and
  • Cookies.

Those policies should be read together with these Terms where relevant to your transaction.

3. Eligibility to Place an Order

By placing an order with Stalder & Reid, you confirm that you have legal capacity to enter into a binding contract.

You must provide accurate, complete and current information when placing an order, including your name, billing information, delivery address and contact details.

You are responsible for checking that the information supplied is correct before submitting your order.

4. Products

Stalder & Reid is a multi-brand retailer offering watches, watch accessories and selected men's accessories.

All products sold by Stalder & Reid are brand new.

All branded goods offered by Stalder & Reid are genuine.

Stalder & Reid is authorised to retail the brands offered on our website.

We take reasonable care to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, specifications, references, prices and availability information shown on our website are accurate.

Specifications and features may vary between products, models and references. Please review the relevant product page carefully before placing an order.

5. Product Images and Colours

We make reasonable efforts to display products and colours as accurately as possible.

However, colour appearance may vary slightly depending on your device, display settings, lighting and screen calibration.

Images may sometimes be used for illustrative or editorial purposes. The product title, reference, description and specifications shown on the relevant product page should be used to identify the item being purchased.

6. Availability

Product availability may change as orders are placed or inventory is updated.

If a product is marked Sold Out, it is not currently available to order.

In rare circumstances, including simultaneous purchases or an inventory discrepancy, an item shown as available may become unavailable after an order has been submitted.

If we are unable to fulfil an order, Client Services will contact you. Any amount already paid for an item that we cannot supply will be refunded to the original payment method.

7. Prices, Taxes and Import Charges

Prices displayed on stalderandreid.co.uk are shown in Pounds Sterling (GBP).

The price applicable to your order is the price displayed and confirmed during checkout when you place the order, subject to correction of obvious errors as described in these Terms.

Any applicable delivery charge will be clearly displayed before you complete your order.

Orders for United Kingdom customers may be dispatched from outside the United Kingdom.

Stalder & Reid is responsible for applicable import duties and taxes associated with the delivery of your order to the United Kingdom.

Customers should therefore not be required to pay an additional import duty or import-tax charge as a condition of receiving an order.

If a carrier or delivery provider requests an unexpected import duty or tax payment, please contact Stalder & Reid Client Services before making the payment where reasonably possible.

Stalder & Reid is not currently registered for UK VAT.

Where a previous price, promotional price or price reduction is shown, it will only be used where the relevant pricing basis supports that representation.

8. Pricing Errors

Despite our reasonable efforts, a product may occasionally be listed at an incorrect price due to a technical, administrative or data error.

If we identify an obvious pricing error before accepting or dispatching an order, we may contact you and give you the opportunity to purchase the product at the correct price or cancel the affected item.

We will not charge a higher price without your agreement.

If an affected order is cancelled after payment has been taken, the amount paid will be refunded to the original payment method.

9. Promotions and Discount Codes

From time to time, Stalder & Reid may offer promotional prices, offers or discount codes.

Promotions may be subject to:

  • specified start and end dates;
  • eligible products or collections;
  • minimum order values where stated;
  • single-use or customer-specific restrictions;
  • stock availability; and
  • other conditions clearly communicated with the promotion.

Expired promotional codes cannot normally be applied retrospectively.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, promotional codes cannot be exchanged for cash.

Nothing in a promotional offer limits your statutory consumer rights.

10. Placing an Order

You may place an order by following the checkout process on stalderandreid.co.uk.

Before submitting an order, you will have the opportunity to review information including:

  • products selected;
  • quantities;
  • prices;
  • delivery method;
  • delivery charges;
  • delivery address; and
  • the total amount payable.

Please check this information carefully before completing payment.

11. Order Confirmation and Contract Formation

After you submit an order, we will normally send an automated order confirmation to the email address provided.

This acknowledges that we have received your order and does not necessarily mean that it has been accepted for fulfilment.

Your order constitutes an offer to purchase the products listed in it.

A contract for the purchase of a product is formed when we accept the order by dispatching that product and sending confirmation that it has been dispatched.

Where products are dispatched separately, separate contracts may arise when each product is dispatched.

Your statutory cancellation rights are not affected by this section.

12. When We May Decline or Cancel an Order

We may decline or cancel an order before dispatch where reasonably necessary, including where:

  • a product is unavailable;
  • payment cannot be authorised;
  • billing or delivery information cannot be verified;
  • we reasonably suspect fraud or unauthorised payment activity;
  • an obvious pricing or product-data error has occurred;
  • delivery to the address supplied is not reasonably possible;
  • an applicable promotion condition has been breached;
  • the order appears unlawful or fraudulent; or
  • we are legally prohibited from completing the transaction.

If an order is cancelled after payment has been taken, the applicable amount will be refunded to the original payment method.

13. Payment

We accept the payment methods displayed at checkout.

Available payment methods may vary depending on the provider, order value or other legitimate transaction requirements.

Payment information is processed using secure payment providers available through our checkout.

By submitting payment, you confirm that you are authorised to use the payment method supplied.

We or our payment providers may carry out reasonable fraud-prevention, payment-security and address-verification checks.

14. Order Verification

Orders may be subject to payment, address, fraud-prevention and security verification.

Some orders may require additional verification.

If additional information is reasonably required, Client Services may contact you.

We will never ask you to send complete payment-card details, your CVV, banking password or one-time security code by email.

15. Processing and Dispatch

Orders are generally processed within 2–4 business days following payment and address verification.

Processing time is separate from the delivery timeframe.

Orders requiring additional verification may take longer to process.

Orders received during UK public holidays will normally resume processing on the next business day.

Dispatch and delivery may occasionally be affected by matters outside our reasonable control.

16. UK Delivery

We currently deliver to customers within the United Kingdom.

Our current delivery options are:

Standard UK Delivery — FREE
Processing: 2–4 business days
Delivery after dispatch: 8–12 business days

Express Delivery — £12.90
Processing: 2–4 business days
Delivery after dispatch: 5–8 business days

This means the typical total estimated timeframe from successful verification to delivery is approximately:

  • Standard: 10–16 business days; and
  • Express: 7–12 business days.

These are estimated timeframes rather than guaranteed delivery dates unless expressly agreed otherwise.

Nothing in this section limits any statutory rights you may have where goods are delivered late.

17. Delivery Address

You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address.

Please review delivery details carefully before completing your order.

If you discover an error after ordering, contact Client Services as soon as possible.

We will try to assist, but we cannot guarantee that an address can be changed once an order has entered processing or been dispatched.

18. Tracking

Once tracking becomes available, tracking information will normally be sent to the email address associated with the order.

Tracking updates are supplied by the relevant logistics or delivery provider and may take time to appear after dispatch.

19. Delivery Problems

If an order appears significantly delayed, lost or delivered incorrectly, please contact Client Services with your order number.

We may need to investigate with the carrier or fulfilment provider before determining the appropriate resolution.

Nothing in this section limits your statutory rights concerning delivery of goods.

20. Risk in the Goods

Risk of accidental loss or damage generally passes to you when the goods are delivered into your physical possession, or into the possession of a person you have identified to receive them on your behalf, subject to applicable law.

21. Cancelling an Order Before Dispatch

If you wish to cancel an order before dispatch, please contact Client Services as soon as possible:

clientservices@stalderandreid.co.uk

Because orders may enter processing promptly, we cannot guarantee cancellation once processing has begun.

If we successfully cancel the order before dispatch, the amount paid, including any delivery charge paid for that order, will be refunded.

If the order has already been dispatched, applicable cancellation or return rights may be exercised in accordance with our Returns & Refund Policy and UK consumer law.

22. Statutory Right to Cancel an Online Purchase

UK consumers buying eligible goods online generally have a statutory right to cancel the purchase without giving a reason.

You may notify us of your decision to cancel within 14 days after receiving the goods.

After notifying us of cancellation, you normally have a further 14 days to return the goods.

You may notify us by email or by using the Model Cancellation Form at the end of these Terms.

Our voluntary 30-day returns policy provides additional time for eligible returns and does not replace or restrict your statutory rights.

23. Personalised and Custom-Made Products

Goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised may be excluded from the statutory right to cancel where applicable law permits.

Personalised or custom-made products are also excluded from our voluntary change-of-mind returns policy.

Any applicable restriction will be disclosed before purchase.

This does not affect your rights where a personalised product is faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described.

24. 30-Day Returns Policy

In addition to statutory rights, Stalder & Reid offers a 30-day returns policy for eligible products.

Eligibility conditions, return procedures, postage responsibilities and refund arrangements are detailed in our Returns & Refund Policy.

Where our voluntary policy differs from a statutory right, the statutory right continues to apply.

25. Change-of-Mind Return Costs

For an eligible change-of-mind return, the customer is responsible for the cost of returning the product .

We recommend a tracked and appropriately insured service, particularly for higher-value products.

Where goods are faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described, reasonable return costs will be handled in accordance with our Returns & Refund Policy and applicable consumer law.

26. Refunds

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method.

Where statutory cancellation rights apply, refunds will be processed within the applicable legal time limits.

Your bank, card issuer or payment provider may require additional time to display a refund after it has been processed by us.

27. Standard and Express Delivery Refunds

Standard UK Delivery is free, so there is no standard outbound delivery charge to refund.

If you chose Express Delivery at £12.90 and exercise an applicable statutory change-of-mind cancellation, any delivery refund required by law is limited to the amount equivalent to our Standard Delivery service.

Because Standard Delivery is free, the additional £12.90 Express Delivery charge is not normally refundable for a change-of-mind cancellation.

Different rules may apply where goods are faulty, incorrect, damaged or not as described.

28. Faulty, Damaged or Misdescribed Goods

We are under a legal duty to supply goods that conform to the contract.

Goods supplied to consumers must, where applicable, be:

  • of satisfactory quality;
  • fit for purpose; and
  • as described.

If a product is faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described, please contact Client Services.

Depending on the circumstances, you may have statutory rights to a refund, repair or replacement.

Qualifying faulty goods may also be subject to the statutory short-term right to reject within 30 days.

Nothing in these Terms or any commercial warranty limits your statutory consumer rights.

29. Warranty

Watches sold by Stalder & Reid include two years of Stalder & Reid movement warranty coverage, unless a longer applicable manufacturer warranty is provided.

Where a manufacturer provides a longer warranty for a particular watch, that manufacturer warranty applies in accordance with its own terms.

TAG Heuer watches sold by Stalder & Reid are supplied with a five-year manufacturer warranty.

Other manufacturers may provide warranty periods longer than two years. Where this applies, the relevant product page or supplied manufacturer documentation will identify the applicable warranty.

Warranty coverage for accessories may differ and will be stated where applicable.

Commercial and manufacturer warranties are separate from and additional to your statutory consumer rights.

30. Warranty and After-Sales Claims

If you experience a problem with a product, please contact Client Services and provide, where appropriate:

  • your order number;
  • the product or manufacturer reference;
  • a description of the issue; and
  • photographs or other relevant information reasonably requested.

We will provide instructions based on the nature of the issue and the applicable warranty or statutory rights.

Please do not send a product to any address without first receiving return instructions from Client Services.

31. Return Addresses

Return locations may vary depending on the product, reason for return and appropriate processing location.

Please contact Client Services before sending any return.

Client Services will provide the correct authorised return address and instructions.

The business address of PURA VIDA ECOM SOLUTIONS LLC is not a customer returns address.

32. Sale and Promotional Items

Products purchased at a genuine reduced or promotional price have the same statutory consumer rights as full-price products.

Eligible promotional products may also be returned under our voluntary 30-day returns policy subject to the stated conditions.

33. Customer Accounts

Where account functionality is available, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and taking reasonable steps to prevent unauthorised access.

Please contact us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

We may restrict or suspend an account where reasonably necessary to prevent fraud, protect customers, maintain security or comply with law.

Independent third parties may operate under their own terms and privacy policies.

37. Website Availability

We aim to keep stalderandreid.co.uk available and functioning correctly, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.

The website may occasionally be unavailable because of:

  • maintenance;
  • technical faults;
  • security requirements;
  • third-party service interruptions; or
  • circumstances outside our reasonable control.

38. Our Responsibility to You

If we fail to comply with these Terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach of contract or failure to use reasonable care and skill, subject to applicable law.

We do not exclude or limit liability where doing so would be unlawful.

This includes liability for:

  • death or personal injury caused by negligence;
  • fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
  • rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded; and
  • other liability that cannot legally be limited.

39. Business Losses

Stalder & Reid primarily supplies products to consumers for personal use.

Where products are purchased for commercial, business or resale purposes, consumer protections may apply differently.

Nothing in this section excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.

40. Events Outside Our Reasonable Control

We will not be responsible for delay or failure caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control to the extent permitted by law.

Such circumstances may include:

  • severe weather;
  • transport disruption;
  • carrier interruption;
  • industrial action;
  • natural disasters;
  • government action;
  • network or infrastructure failures;
  • significant cyber incidents;
  • public emergencies; or
  • similar circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Where such an event materially affects an order, we will take reasonable steps to keep you informed and comply with applicable legal obligations.

41. Privacy

Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Please review that policy for information concerning our data controller, UK Representative, processing purposes, service providers, international transfers, cookies and your data protection rights.

42. Communications

  • order confirmations;
  • payment or verification messages;
  • dispatch confirmations;
  • tracking information;
  • delivery-related messages;
  • return and refund communications; and
  • warranty or after-sales correspondence.

Marketing communications are governed by applicable privacy and electronic-marketing requirements and may be unsubscribed from where applicable.

43. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect:

  • changes to our business or services;
  • changes to website functionality;
  • changes to operational procedures;
  • changes to applicable law or regulation; or
  • other legitimate business requirements.

The Terms that apply to a purchase are normally those made available when the order is placed, except where a later change applies by law.

44. If Part of These Terms Is Invalid

If a court or competent authority determines that any provision is unlawful, invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.

45. No Waiver

If we do not immediately enforce a right or provision under these Terms, this does not necessarily mean that the right or provision has been waived.

46. Third-Party Rights

Unless expressly stated otherwise, these Terms are between you and Stalder & Reid, operated by PURA VIDA ECOM SOLUTIONS LLC.

No other person has a right to enforce these Terms except where applicable law provides otherwise.

47. Governing Law and Courts
